Hello and a big welcome to the home page of  The Finish Line International. On April 21, 2007, we completed the last running of, The Great American Adventure Run. Some of you have been with me for these past 23 years. If only, Time, would run slower each year as do our race times. This will never be, but, okay, I can live with this. I didn’t cry this year, but I did moan when I fell off the scooter. Only, Daniel saw me laying in the mud with the scooter on top of me. I really love, “cross country runners”. You have been very loyal and I love you even more when you drop by to thank me. Sunset in the Park will be the only race I will promote at Central Park, West. I would love to continue with all three, but the ole body just takes too long to recover. 

I will make a real effort to run the 10 Miler in Bern, Switzerland, in May of 2008. I will hit, 70 years old at that time and I will do my best to give the older Bernese a run for their Swiss Franc. My son, Chris lives there. We always stop in Bern, on the way home from our travels, to visit with the family. Trina and I really love to travel. We’ll be in, Croatia, this year. It won’t be long before my race directing days will be over and my traveling “time” will be extended. But the memories will linger on.
