2.8 Mi. Run & Walk start @ 6:00 PM. The 4.8 Mile Run @ 6:30 PM. Walkers may walk the 2.8 Mi. course, ONLY. The High School Age Team Race start; Girls @ 4:30 PM, Boys @ 5:00 PM.

Completely marked, monitored. This race is USATF sanctioned. Cross-country style, grass, dirt and asphalt with one hill. Walkers Welcome, but be alert. Walkers may ONLY walk the 2.8 Mi. LATE-REGISTRATION:
After August 14, 2008, $23.00 with beautifully designed shirt, $20.00 Run Only. Both races, add $6.00. High School Age Race, $6.00, $14.with shirt. Race site registration begins at, 3:00PM, H.S., & 4:30PM, Open. Shirts Subject to Availability.

ATTENTION: (Avoid the Lines) Before Aug.14, send a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope with your entry, you will receive your race number and upcoming race flyers. Your shirt may be picked up at  the race site, race afternoon, from 4:30 PM, by presenting your number at the shirt table.

First through third place in each division, both races, men and women, plus Overall awards, M&F.
Sunset Runner, First through Third, M&F, in Master & sub-Master divisions.
Walkers, Top 10, Overall, crossing the finish line.
High School Age Race, Perpetual Trophy retired to the first place high school age team, boys & girls.
Individual Awards to high school age team runners, first through third, in three (3) age divisions; age 17+;  age 16; & age 15-under. Team members only may receive individual awards.

HIGH SCHOOL AGE TEAM RACE INFORMATION
We will have a special cross-country race for high school age teams, boys and girls. Competition will begin at 4:30 PM for Girls & 5:00 PM for Boys in this 2.8 mile team challenge. Each team will consist of 5 persons or more. The first 5 runners will score by totaling their places.  The lowest place team, total place score, will win, for boys & girls teams. All runners will be timed and placed. In additional, individual top Five awards per division, age 17+,  age 16,  age 15-U, Boys & Girls will be presented. Individual Awards to Team Members, Only. One Team member shall register all team members on race day.
Schools wishing to compete must have completed and returned to the CIF-SS
office, the form indicting their Summer Dead Period for Cross Country. In
order to compete as a school team, your three consecutive week Summer Dead
Period must be completed prior to August 17, 2008. Schools which complete
the form and have finished their Summer Dead Period would then be
participating in this event under CIF-SS summertime rules. Summertime Rules

SUNSET RUNNER

his division is for those runners who wish to run both open races. The first (3) finishers with the lowest overall times, in both races, men and women, Master and sub-Master, will be awarded special trophies. Pre-registration race fee is $26.00 w/shirt, $23.00 run only. Late-registration fee is $29.00 w/shirt, $26.00 run only. Sunset runners are also eligible for open division awards. “A very special runner”, I might add.
